I'm Stuffed
After eating all that ham, turkey, ham, turkey, ham, and spending time with the Pilgrims, Santa, the elves, and family, it's time to get back to work on The House God Built.
We Need You
We have a lot of work planned over the next few weekends and we really need your presence at 529 South Hanover Street to help in anyway you can - skilled, unskilled, cheerleading, or cheerfollowing - it doesn't matter.
Project Purpose
It's about giving through God, with God, and to God - a gift that means so much more than just a house, but is about being a witness to others of the power of God. It's about to get real exciting, and you'll want to be a part of it.
Weekend Plans
This weekend we removed the form work that was used for the basement walls and cleaned much of the form work. Next we will be waterproofing the new basement walls, power washing the interior of the old basement walls, and a whole lot more.
Sign-up
After you decide that there is no better place to be this weekend than 529 South Hanover Street, please, please, please go to thehouseGodbuilt.volunteerhub.com to let us know that you will be there by registering for "the event". This will help our Volunteer Coordinator to keep her sanity.I don't think I mentioned it before, but we really need your help. See you this weekend.

Basement walls are coming up
The forms are going up on the basement walls. Again, weather has slowed us down but at least progress is continuing. Plans are for concrete to be poured on Wednesday. We plan on having a group workday next Saturday so look for an opportunity to volunteer soon.

The footings are poured
The weather has finally given us a long enough break to pour concrete into the forms that were built about a week ago. The forms for the basement walls are under construction now and should be ready for concrete very soon. Once these walls are poured framing will be ready to begin. We should be ready for volunteers very soon. Sign-up to volunteer here or call at 573-837-4047.

We're back to work
The permits finally came through this week so we're ready to get started on construction now. This week the dirt work was done to be ready to pour concrete for the new portion of the basement. Yesterday the forms for the footings were installed. This weekend we'll be placing rebar in the forms and preparing the basement wall forms. Volunteer to help or just come by to encourage us on as we enter this new phase of the project.
